Uganda joined the rest of the World to celebrate World Tourism Day with the national celebrations taking place in Hoima.
The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah was the Chief guest at the ceremony at Hoima Booma grounds in Hoima City.
The Premier was flanked by Ministers, MPS, LCV Chairpersons and Technical officials. In attendance were partners, Exhibitors, Tourism ambassadors, residents among others.
World Tourism Day is celebrated on September 27. This day highlights the significance of tourism in fostering cultural exchange, economic growth and sustainable development.
The theme for this year is “Tourism and Green Investments”
