The Deputy RDC has handed over 1 motorcycle received Under Generating Growth Opportunities and Productivity for Women Enterprises (GROW) Project.

Today the Deputy RDC Mr. Kyakashari Michael has today handed over 1 motorcycle received from the Government of Uganda under the Ministry for Gender, Labour and Social Development to facilitate the implementation of the World Bank-funded project, Generating Growth Opportunities and Productivity for Women Enterprises (GROW). 

During the handover, the RDC encouraged the district GROW project focal person to put this motorcycle to the right purpose. Women should be supported to access the funds under this project and you should ensure timely and convenient monitoring and supervision of the project activities, He said.

GROW is a government of Uganda initiative that arose out of the need to respond to the needs of women entrepreneurs who want to grow their businesses, sustain their self-employment and create more jobs.

The Project development objective is to increase access to entrepreneurial services that enable female entrepreneurs to grow their enterprises in targeted locations including in refugee hosting districts
