Hoima District LG has received 2 Mortorcycles from Ministry of Health to Support Immunisation Services.

The RDC Hoima Mr. Mbabazi Rodgers has today handed over two motorcycles received from the ministry of health to support immunization and the entire cold chain activities in the district. The RDC expressed that the government has put a lot of emphasis on improving Health services in the country and so as the community we should embrace these interventions. These motorcycles should not be personalized, they should be put to the right use they are meant for, He said.

During the handover, the District Chairperson Hon. Mugisa Uthuman Kadiri encouraged the users of these motorcycles to go and serve the people up to the grassroot level. Sensitization in the communities should be done for people to embrace the purpose of immunization, He said.

The motorcycles will be used for surveillance and distribution of vaccines in the district and will be used by the district cold chain technician in charge of the vaccines and the other at Kigorobya HCIV.
