The RDC Mr. Mbabazi Rodgers has launched construction of 13.6Km community access roads connecting Sub counties of Kapapi, Kiganja and Bombo.
These roads include Kabahwa – Kyeramya – Kiryawanga 5.8Km and Hanga – Aliwala – Iseisa 7.8Km. These roads are to be constructed with funding from the National Oil Seed Project (NOSP) contracted by M/s Ken Fields Services Limited.
“The Government of Uganda is investing in these infrastructure projects with the aim of improving services to the communities, we should make use of them to improve our livelihood”, The RDC said.
The CAO Mr. Ssempala Emmanuel called upon community members to invest in agriculture and make use of these roads to transport their products to markets.
The District Chairman Hon. Mugisa Uthuman Kadiri Junior thanked the NRM government for bringing these investments in Hoima. He assured the community members that the district is putting all measures to ensure that all roads have been rehabilitated and other social services improved.
