The RDC Mr. Mbabazi Rodgers has today handed over 2 Motorcycles to Agriculture Extension workers attached to Sub counties of Kigorobyaya, Kiganja and Kapaapi.
The Government of Uganda Under the National Oil Seed Project(NOSP) has supported the district with these motorcycles to Boost Agricultural Extension Services in District.
During the handover the RDC emphasized that government has continued to use different programs to develop the communities and these should be embraced.
With these motorcycles, extension workers should put in more efforts to support farmers upto grassroot level, he said.
The CAO Mr. Ssempala Emmanuel encouraged the extention staff to use this opportunity to ensure that the agriculture sector in the district is improved. Farmers household income should improve and the impact of extension work should be felt in the communities, he said.
