Hoima District has this morning recieved a concignment of  217,080 mosquito nets, to be distributed all over the District.

The campaign dubbed ‘Under the Net’ is being carried out with support from The Global Fund and Against Malaria Foundation with focus on behavior change aimed to achieve consistent net use, net repair, repurposing and tackling the social norms surrounding the utilization of mosquito nets.

While flagging off this distribution at Hoima District Headquarters, the RDC Mr. Mbabazi Rogers thanked the president for prioritizing the health sector. He said he is grateful as this mosquito nets distribution will reduce congestion in health centers as malaria cases will now be few.
