Hoima District has held a Technical Planning meeting.
Today Hoima district has held its Technical planning meeting at the district headquarters. The meeting was aimed at streamlining works by the technical staff and draw measures towards improved service delivery.
During the meeting, the CAO Mr. Ssempala Emmanuel encouraged staff to forcus on implementing government programs and fulfill their mandates as civil servants.
The CAO also highlighted the key issues drawn from a 2weeks retreat for CAO’s in the country at the National leadership Institute in Kyankwanzi. Some of the key issues highlighted include;
All government schools should not charge any dues from students in any case.
There should be no boarding facilities at Seed schools. All students at these schools should study coming from there private homes.
Stealing of drugs from Health Facilities should be handled and such vices brought to an end
All stakeholders should join hands to fight corruption at all levels
All stakeholders in the development of the country should support the implementation of the different government for better economic development.
Salary adjustment plans are in process to ensure all civil servants salaries are enhanced.
Staff were encouraged to attend to their duties and always report all activities being implemented. “You should ensure accountability is done to the different stakeholders for all government programs”, CAO Said.
