District Technical Planning Committee meeting held with Technical staff.

The District has held a technical planning committee meeting and the CAO has given staff guidelines on the key issues that will move forward the district.

Staff encouraged to uphold the core values of the district and ensure clients are handled well. It is the mandate of all staff appointed in the different positions to serve the communities and clients diligently. As leaders staff should be answerable to all the works being performed, and they should serve communities according to the district approved work plans.

Corruption should be fought in the different offices, personal generating projects should be started so that staff get there income and not look at misuse of government funds meant for other activities in the communities.

Staff have been encouraged to always publish all the work done. This is in line with the government communication strategy that requires us to publish all the activities being implemented in the district.

Heads of departments encouraged to move to the subcounties and offer mentoring of the lower local governments. This will contribute towards improved subcounty and district performance.
