The CAO Hoima Mr. Ssempala Emmanuel has today held a revenue enhancement meeting with the responsible officers with the aim of increasing the district revenue.
Revenue responsible officers have been encouraged to use all the available sources for example building plans, factories starting up, Institutions, etc on top of the existing sources to increase the district revenue.
All departments are responsible for creating an environment that will enable revenue generation. Money will not be available if we don’t go to the field to look for it, communities should be sensitized. Parish Chiefs and the LC1s should be used to enforce and work as informers in the different areas, He said.
