Hoima:The Vice Chairperson Hoima District,Hon Fridah Kabagahya, Chief Adminstrative Officer Hoima,Madam Nakalungi Sarah and Youth Council Chairperson, Robert Kajura have today joined efforts to mobilize all Beneficiaries to Youth Livelihood Funds to recover the funds in Buraru Sub County.
While speaking to beneficiaries who gathered in Kisagara village on 29/10/2026, Joyce Kabatalya the Senior Development Officer who is also the focal person for YLP and UWEP programmes said that about 122 Million Shillings has been disbursed to 14 Youth groups under different enterprises in Buraru Sub County.Less than 13 Million Shillings has been recovered since 2014/2015 Financial Year.
Madam Nakalungi Sarah has urged the youth to rejunate their group enterprises, develop the spirit of working together and saving culture in order to achieve the shared vision of government on social economic transformation, creation of employment opportunities and improvement of household income.
She has urged the Beneficiaries of the programme to take the advantage of favourable climate and fertile souls to venture into commerical farming.
Kajura Robert the Chairperson Youth Council Hoima and Hon Fridah Kabagahya the Vice Chairperson Hoima,have all committed to mobilizing the programme beneficiaries on recovery efforts.
