Residents of Bunyanja community in Buraru Sub County, Hoima District have donated 32 acres of land to host the proposed Hoima Presidential skilling Hub.
During a recent regional meeting for the Masindi Presidential Skilling Hub, Uthuman Mugisha Kadiri the Chairperson Hoima District was tasked to mobilize the population and secure land to host another Skilling Hub for Hoima District.
Today, community members of Bunyanja in Buraru presented a memorundum of understanding in which they have donated 32 acres of land to Hoima District Chairperson and Chief Adminstrative Officer to host the Skilling Hub.The function took place today at Buraru Health Center where residents and local leaders had turned up for the community BARAZA on 17 August,2026.
Hon Uthuman Mugisha Kadiri has commended the Bunyanja community for the Nobel gesture adding that the Skilling Hub will help the youth gain skills and create jobs.
Nakalungi Sarah Aziz the CAO,Hoima has presented a certificate of appreciation to the community for offering the piece of land.
