In a bid to improve on service delivery, Hoima has instituted the District Integrity Promotion Forum-DIPF with the mandate to address issues service delivery including accountability and conduct of public officers.
The Hoima District Integrity Promotion Forum-DIPF will be chaired by the Resident District Commissioner-Rodgers Mbabazi.
Other members of the forum are the Chief Administrative Officer-CAO who will be the secretary of the forum, the LCV Chairman and Hoima Chief Magistrate.
It is also comprised of other members including; Chairman district service commission, Chairman district contracts committee, Chairperson PAC, District Police Commander, Resident State Attorney, LC3 Chairperson for an urban council, District CID officer, District Internal Security Officer, Internal Auditor and representatives from Civil society organization, Auditor general’s office, inspectorate of government and faith-based organizations in the district.

RDC Mbabazi the integrity promotion forum will be used to bring together leaders and other stakeholders in the district together to discuss issues of accountability and effective leadership.
The Hoima CAO Emmanuel Ssempala says the forum members will be inducted by the ethics and integrity directorate more especially on terms of reference.
He says the forum will basically provide exemplary leadership in the district, provide platform for reporting matters of corruption and accountability in the district.
The forum will also monitor the implementation of programs and projects in the district.
Ismael Kusemererwa the Executive Director for Mid-Western Region Anti-Corruption Coalition-MIRAC who represents civil society organizations on the forum said they will support the district more especially in areas of joint monitoring of government programs and projects.
The district integrity promotion forum is a coordination mechanism established by the National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2014/19 to enhance effective service delivery in local governments.
