The CAO Hoima has today organised a district vehicle inspection activity aimed at ascertaining the status of the different vehicles used by the district.
The Regional Traffic Officer Albertine Tumwebaze Joram together with the OC traffic, DPC and RDC Hoima carried out this inspection. The issues found on the different vehicles were noted and presented to management for further action.
During the inspection, the RTO commended the effort by the CAO towards this cause and pledged support to the district towards proper use of these government vehicles on the roads.
The inspection was concluded with a meeting with the drivers, and they were advised on the work ethics and they were taken through the government standing orders that should be followed for improved services and the different traffic rules and regulations.
During the meeting the District Chairperson advised the drivers to always follow traffic rules, work together with their supervisors in harmony, not to personalize vehicles and drive the vehicles for designated purposes and at the approved time and working hours.
