Hoima Resident District Commissioner-RDC has commissioned four brand new motorcycles to bolster efficient monitoring of Parish Development Model, Emyooga program implementation and amplification of agriculture extension services.
The RDC who was represented by Shafih Ntuuyo the Assistant Resident District Commissioner at the commissioning function which was held at the district headquarters today has commended the NRM government under the leadership of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for prioritizing effective service delivery focused on improving household income.
The Hoima Chief Administrative Officer-CAO Ssempala Emmanuel has urged the officers who will be using the motorcycles to use them to deliver quality services and alleviating poverty. He said Hoima district is committed to implementing all government programs aimed at improving lives of Ugandans.
Dr Kajura Charlse the Hoima District Production and Marketing officer who doubles as the Bunyoro Region PDM focal person said three motorcyles were procured by the production department and the fourth motorcycle was donated by the ministry of trade and industries to boost the commercial section.
