Local leaders and community members of Buhanika subcounty in Hoima district have resolved and committed to giving total support to Kidukuru seed secondary School.
Speaking during the handover ceremony of the school administration to the newly posted Head teachers Mr Fredrick Musazi today at the school,the Buhanika subcounty LCIII Chairperson Jamilu Kasangaki has challenged all the leaders and community to mobilize resources and students for the school to remain strong and sustainable.
Kasangaki says the government responded to their cries and constructed strong buildings and other facilities to support the education of the children in the area and no one should sabotage it’s development.
The Hoima DEO, Harriet Kihumuro has commended the former Headteacher Rodgers Tumusabe for taking care of the school and marketing it to parents.She urged him to cooperate with the new management for the continuity of the school.
Rodgers Tumusabe who was working as the caretaker Headteacher has handed over to Fredrick Musazi and pledged total support. He has asked the district leadership to ensure that there is extension of electricity to the school and have it fenced to guard it against intruders.
The handover ceremony was carried out and clearly supervised by the Principal Internal Auditor Aron Musana, the CAO who was represented by SAS Brian Atugonza,DEO,the Chairman board and local leaders.
