Senior presidential advisor calls for popularizing of government achievements, programs.

The Senior Presidential Advisor for mobilization in the office of the president Lt Col (Rtd) Ambako Kibrai has courted local leaders and technocrats to amplify the popularization of government services and programs.

Ambako made the remarks during a monitoring and evaluation engagement with Hoima District local government leaders and civil servants on Tuesday 18th June 2025 at Hoima district headquarters.

He expressed concern over lack of publicizing of achievements of government projects and programs something which he said was building negative attitude in the population.

He commended Hoima district for delivery on key service sectors more especially in education, health, parish development model and administration among others.

He inspected  several government projected being implemented in Hoima district including the 3.45 Billion shillings Kidukuru seed secondary school in Buhanika sub county. He said that it was a result of good education and planning policies that the government was able to put up such a multimillion project to support education of children.

He said the government will support the school with teachers and other infrastructural needs to ensure that people have benefited fully.

The Hoima acting district education officer Harriet Kihumulo said there is a need to confirm all the teachers at the school by the government. She also called for extension of electricity to the school.

The Hoima RDC Rodgers Mbabazi said that Hoima district will continue to implement government programs
