Hoima District team has today held a site visit and meeting at the construction site of Kidukuru seed secondary school in Buhanika Subcounty.
During the meeting, the RDC Mr. Mbabazi Rodgers applauded the community members for supporting the government of Uganda in the move towards construction of this school. It should be noted that one of the community members offered a donation of 13 acres of land for the construction of this school. He appealed to the contractor to work towards finishing the project within the stipulated timeline.
The CAO Mr. Ssempala Emmanuel appealed to the community members to support their children go to school so that such support offered by government is not put to waste. As community members we should own this school and monitor all its operations since such projects have an impact to the development of the surrounding community.
During the same meeting the Vice Chairperson Hon, Mulumba Hellen called upon the community members to continue supporting the district leadership through such intervation for the district to move forward. She appealed to the Contructors to always support the local communities by employing them during construction works of such projects.
