Global Amet allies (GAA) consultants consultative meeting with Hoima DLG.

GLOBAL AMET ALLIES (GAA) consultants has today had a consultative meeting with Hoima district Local government on the environmental and social impact assessment for the proposed multi purpose Hoima national stadium.

During the meeting the PAS Hoima DLG Mr. Asaba Kiiza Hannington emphasized the need for aways involving stakeholders during all the stages of project implementation.

“Environmental and Social safeguards should be keenly considered so that the local communities are not affected during the construction works and when the stadium is completed” He said.

Ms. Nakigozi Sharifah working with GAA consultants highlighted  that the construction works are expected to run up to December 2025 and the stadium will be of a 20,000 seater capacity.

Hoima National Stadium Masterplan

The government of Uganda contracted M/S SUMMA Turkish company to construct the stadium that will host matches during the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), co-hosted with Kenya and Tanzania.
