Hoima DLG team, carries out PDM beneficiary verification to eliminate ghosts from the selected lists.
The RDC Hoima Mr. Mbabazi Rodgers, together with Asst RDC Mr. Tumusiime Ronald and the technical team are carrying out PDM verification exercise in all the Sub counties and Town Councils in the District.
The verification is aimed at eliminating ghost beneficiaries and those that are not eligible per the criteria to benefit from the PDM funds.
The objective of the exercise was to address the complaints raised by the communities on the selected PDM beneficiaries being ghosts or the right people in the parish, to verify and validate the selected beneficiaries across the entire parish and to get a vetted final list of the beneficiaries for receiving the Parish Revolving Funds.
During the verification, the RDC assured the community members that only the verified beneficiaries will be allowed to get funds and these will only be the known people by the communities and those that fit the set PDM selection criteria.
The exercise was conducted by lining up the selected beneficiaries; then the leaders and community present verify/validate one by one; and then a final list is got and adopted by the validation team.
